Hey there! I'm Mik, an early 20's Michigan and North Carolina-based shutterbug, chasing light and life through my lens everywhere I go. I'm married and have two wild little adventurers of my own.

I'm a hiking junkie who's explored 37 states and the rugged beauty of Iceland. On a Tuesday, you can find me sipping lattes in cozy coffee shops, playing with my littles, or adding ink to my story with tattoos.

Everyone's definition of adventure is different. While I love trekking through the mountains on a rainy day, your idea of adventure might be discovering a new coffee shop or traveling to a nearby city. I love and crave all adventures! For as long as I can remember, my soul has always been drawn to being away from home. Every time I travel or go on a mini adventure, I absolutely love it and I want my clients to love it too! I will act as a mini tour guide throughout your session to ensure that we capture the most beautiful and intimate photographs during your adventure, whatever it may be (:
